Would Security Cameras Have Captured Prince's Death? I don't mean to be insensitive but is it likely Prince's death was captured on CCTV? Given his interest in privacy I'd imagine Paisley Park had security measures in place including cameras. I certainly don't want this footage (if it exists) ever to be made public, but I'm curious to know if investigators would have such material in their possession? I guess I'm just hoping for anything that can help unearth the truth behind his tragic and untimely passing. [Edited 5/15/16 12:20pm] | |

Human curiosity can be such a horrible thing at times. I even had this exact thought cross my head too, even though I would never want to see such footage. I imagine possibly, quite possibly yes.  | |

i imagine there were cameras around, althoughh perhaps not in the elevator itself. but it may be possible to contruct his activities and whether or not he was ok when he went in. i pray that 1 it never gets out 2 that it shows prince happily recording and running around and then just suddenly dropping without pain or distress 3 that the police destroy the only copy when they are done "If u love somebody, your life won't be in vain

I have a fan friend that was at the last show in Atlanta and worked at paisley park in the past. He says there was a camera in the upper right corner of the elevator.....on the down low.....
He thinks this was staged and he is retired. Alive. God I hope so. He deserves the best retirement. The wb deal is what confuses me about the whole thing and the Judith hill connection again. [Edited 5/15/16 13:14pm] [Edited 5/15/16 13:15pm] | |

I'm sure Paisley Park has cameras everywhere, including the elevators. There probably is footage, but like everyone mentioned, I hope it never sees the light of day. That would be one Prince bootleg I would NEVER want! __________________________________________________

. Did Prince want security cameras recording his every move when he walked around in his home? Doubtful. And he wasn't that concerned with security if he didn't even a security guard at PP overnight. . I had the same thought and maybe there are cameras outside and in certain areas but just unlikely they recorded him walking into elevator...still can't figure why he was in there too and maybe we will never know for sure. | |

Wasnt there a photo on the cover of the Enquirer about a week or so ago of Prince laid out (excuse the phrase) in the elevator? Yes, NE was tasteless and 'recreated' their speculative photos. The photos were labeled 'recreation' or some such. I was horrified while standing in the check out lane. | |

Where is the elevator in PP? I mean is it near his living quarters or the studio, kitchen? Is it near the back entrance where he was dropped off at the night b4? Anyone know? I agree that Prince wouldn't have dressed like that, but it was still horrible to see, just putting the mere image of it out there, and knowing that he did die in the elevator. | |
