51. I was 17 when I saw my first Prince show (Controversy Tour in 1982) and continued on all the way through til 51 when I saw Piano and a Microphone shows at Paisley. A pretty good 34 year run. Thought it would go on another 10 or 20 years though sad

44 here. First tape was Vanity 6. We lived in Germany. I wore the tape out on my sony walkman. Moved back to the states and it was a wrap! Soundtrack to my life.

First experience of Prince was the Batman album at the age of 9.

The thought of a world without looking forward to new interviews, upcoming live performances, random news on here about what he's doing next - yeah, not really got to grips with that yet.

So look into the mirror, do u recognise some1? Is it who u always hoped u would become, when u were young?

Turned 60 in January, don't know why I was surprised to see he was only 2 years younger. I guess he always seemed ageless. Miss him so.

Hey I am almost there - 58, and lived in New orleans and LA doe much of my life. Saw the purple rain tour at the Super Dome!
