What will be your Prince Album this year for rememberance? I am going with Plectrum Electrum, what I think we be his last great album. He really rocks it out on this set of songs. Very nice.

I did not get it when it first came out because I got AOA. I wanted to listen to it thoroughly, and the reviews I read here were mostly negative for Plect.

Then I heard Another Love played SNL tribute to Prince, fell in love with that song, and purchased the album.

I did feel kind of dirty purchasing it after he had died, considering how he fought so hard to sell these albums in all sorts of new ways.

But, it is what it is.

Anyway, I am loving it, wished I had gotten it sooner. Will be my Album for the summer.

(Would be nice if they found more songs done by Prince and 3rd eye girl and release another album, they had a good sound together.)

1999 = This album is THE perfect example of the MPLS sound. And we all know that Prince was and still is the MPLS sound.

I've been playing The Truth a lot, especially "come Back" an "Welcome to the Dawn" but mostly I've been binging on all the YouTube stuff that's finally out and absorbing stuff i've never seen or heard before. I started a thread on it.
