(More) Recollections of Working for Prince

Happened upon this extremely long video...hoepfully it hasn't been posted here yet.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=br1Q0-U5NSo

The whole thing is pretty interesting, as this guy was around during the symbol years. However, it's also in need of a thorough edit, so I've included the timestamps for some stories:

44:00 - how to survive as a Paisley Park employee

47:41 - his first meaningful P encounter

55:00 - P during the Love 4 One Another benefit concerts.

57:30 - Paisley Park theft!

time flies.

Check out Michael Koppelman. He worked with Prince from Graffiti Bridge through prince, but had his name on Prince albums up through 2006. He wrote a long of Ingrid's songs for her album (including Hippy Blood, Candlebox, etc.) On his www.LoLife.com, there is some 411 on him, as well as a link to his Discogs catalog, and more.

.

He has a podcast, and there are two Prince stories MP3s posted. You might find them in the iTunes store as well, if you search for 'lolife' or 'Michael Koppelman'. They've been out for quite a few years, but they are a great listen still today.

.

There's also a quick story from a few days ago on youTube (meant for something else).

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Man, anybody know what happened to that movie script from 1989? Would love to read what it was about!

I thought the story was brilliant and in no need of an edit whatsoever - quite the opposite, the way he tells the story made me feel like i was there (PP) myself !
