Best interview of Prince - Tavis Smiley
Best interview of Prince I have seen so far. Talks a lot about his father and life and his views of music and politics. I never knew he was epiletic as a kid and that he didn't vote.

And then he started talking about chemtrails... Always cry 4 love, never cry 4 pain.

This clip thankfully doesn't include the chemtrails stuff (which will make me cringe forever more), but his talk from around 20:00 on about seeing religion on UK TV in a way you just don't in the USA... what freakin channel was he watching? Nothing he says there is remotely true.

I watched this last night. It's a great interview. Some odd moments, for sure, but for the most part, I love the way Prince handles the WB situation with such class and poise. If you set your mind free, baby, maybe you'd understand.

He mentioned epilepsy in "The Sacrifice of Victor". "Epileptic till the age of 7", and in the liner notes lyric sheet (possibly in backwards print) it says "true story" or "truth" or something to that effect, referencing the lyric. . In "Dear Mr. Man", from Musicology, he talks about voting:
Listen, ain't no sense in voting, same song with a different name
Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.
