Has a soundboard recording of Piano & Mic tour been released?

Note: I am NOT asking for directions on how to get bootlegs. I am just discussing whether this particular bootleg might exist.

Have there been any soundboard recordings released of the Piano & Mic tour? I know there have been multiple audience recordings. I haven't seen anyone mention soundboard recordings.

Audience recordings for piano shows (Prince or other artists) drive me nuts because the crowd really interferes with the quieter sound of the music.

AFAIK, no, there has not.

I will say this, the audience recordings are very listenable, especially the early show. But, yes, there is a LOT of audience. They couldn't help it, I'm sure... cry

There are none (other than the official download releases of 'Little Red Corvette' / 'Dirty Mind' and 'Joy In Repetition')

I agree.

This is why I didn't track any concert 'till now (apart the last show in Atlanta for the reasons you can well understand).

I've listened to the first PP concert but the crowd takes away good part of the magic of the art.

A soundboard recording would be very welcomed, the only way to fully enjoy the experience (barring obviously to be there when it happened).

I really hope his live album is released. Or that a soundboard makes it to the public. This tour needs to be documented.

Seems the crowd was loud enough to affect the soundboard of the Atlanta shows. Funkenberry said at the Sat party Prince was joking about that's what you want to hear in a live recording, the audience, or something to the effect. Still, by all accounts, he wanted it released...

I've found the two Oakland shows to be the most listenable so far... the voice and piano are prominent. The audience are definitely there, but these two aren't far off official-release sound to my ears.... lots of atmosphere.

Show 2 of Sydney has been the best quality I've heard.

However, I think the best performances were the shows in Melbourne 16/ Feb.

This audience recording doesn't actually sound particularly inferior to the Black Sweat soundboard. It's 90% there, and an emotional rollercoaster of a listen now.

I've only heard the Sydney Opera House shows, the final Atlanta concerts, and a couple of Paisley shows. The Oakland recordings seem like they're more promising.

All these shows just reinforce what wonderful magic we lost two weeks ago. I still don't feel the same.
