Honestly, every little bit of information that comes out about Prince since his death will piss people off. It doesn't matter if it's TMZ or Shelia E. saying something, a former bandmate not making any statement at all, a former bandmate making a statement, or the family filing a routine motion with the court, someone on the org is gonna freak out and start writing screechy, angry conspiritorial posts about it. And tied to a second, totally separate report of dehydration of a 53 year old male, who could have been anyone (maybe there was a dance party or gig and an audience member didn't drink enough fluids??). When we were shooting the tv show dallas a couple of years ago in plano texas.We were told that the actual owner of the house at the time in the 70's said people would come out to the ranch looking for jr and one lady had hot soup and healing powers to get him better when he was shot.So living on flat ground which most big celebs dont do because of stalkers prince prob had tons of that.Did he have a guard gate? | |

Breakbeat, the more & more I look back, I can see how people would say drug issues. His paranoia was seeping at a high level, he allegedly told Mancow when he visited his radio studio, his favorite radio program was Info Wars & Mancow's radio program. What makes someone more geeked up on these theories? Cocaine is a culprit and it can sink you quick. It isn't unusual, it can happen to ANYONE.
There is nothing wrong with it, but we need to understand the reality of someone working the hours he did, he likely did not just run on magic. If he did use anything, he used it to keep going. I don't think it is unlikely that Prince was using speed, many musicians live it by it where their schedule never stops.
I don't know if he was a pillhead,cokehead or whatever but I would not be surprised. I would not think any less of him.
One last thing, people usually who are adamant on preaching to others, usually they have a vice they are trying to avoid by helping others. I just would not bet on Prince not being on drugs, I've seen this pattern way too many times.

There is a guard out there during events and such but on a regular, ordinary day I don't think so. At least not from what I noticed as I drove by that area. I'm even surprised at the number of trespassing calls. Paisley park isn't that big of a deal to the people around there. It's all taken in stride and people are very respectful of Prince's business. I guess I'm naive not thinking there were actually people crazy enough to intrude like that in that area especially. It's set back from the road a bit but it's at a fairly busy intersection in an upper middle class area that is well patrolled by law enforcement. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself.
