ive been thinking/asking that same question since 4/21/16...is he grieving? ..or is he gag ordered, and lawyered up?...seems strange...we can get interviews from Alfred, but nothing from his right hand man KirkyJ?... |

I would imagine, to a certain extent, that those really and truly close to Prince would have been interviewed by police/detectives and perhaps even told to keep quiet.
I'm sure he's grieving - he was with him for something like 30 years, right? | |

I understand that in Prince's last public appearance (which was after the emergency landing) at Paisley he thanked "Doctor" Kirk.
Did I get that wrong?

At the appearance on Saturday Prince said that Kirk was his or our everything. Same with putting in all the carpet at Paisley for the piano show. I don't think there was anyone closer exept for maybe his assistant. | |

Kirk never left the Prince camp from the day he joined, after 2000 he was still working at Paisley, and guested onstage in 01 and 02 and a few times after that over the years, he was still recording and mixing and producing with Prince, albums like MPLSound had a lot of help from Kirk but sadly credits were never P's strong point | |
