Yeah such a fun store. I have a story about it I'll save for another day. involved one of the dancers.

But the coolest little tidbit from my visit there was how laying right there by the checkout cash register was one (1) only one mirror bracelet Prince wore for the Batman era. Like in the style of the heart bracelets from Sign o the times and Lovesexy. I asked, is this for sale? She said, ummmm ok, 5 bucks? I was like duh yeah! I love that bracelet.

Loved the NPG store. I remember paying to go upstairs, sit on the floor, and watch Dolphin and other videos with a friend. I remember getting the Alphabet St 12" there. Was sad when the store went away. But the purple door stayed there for quite a while.
