They are likely all penniless at the moment and have a massive responsibility. 20k is a paltry sum in comparison to how much these people are going to have to spend to make sure they get their due share. Sorry but This is all princes fault for not having proper arrangements. |

Why do people think Prince owed his familly anything??? He made his own way. They had the opportunity to make their own.
Why were any of them relying on him for their lively hood? They were adults, your life is your own.
Maybe that is why there is no will. Maybe that was his last way to say to them, get off the gravy train and get it togehter yourselves.

It's the same with all the really successful artists. The families totally rely on them financially. Half of that $20'000 were probably used for the purple gift boxes. Seriously though, $20'000 is nothing, considering what they had to spend on the funeral etc. Plus I'm sure the upkeep at Paisley Park has to be dealt with while everything is getting sorted out. | |

I would hope that Prince was a better person and could rise above the shit that family members do...why would he just say a final fuck you to them and not leave a will...I dont see Prince being that cruel. He was alot of things, but not that. | |

I personally find it disrespectful that Prince fans are talking about Prince's BLOOD Family this way!That fans here are believing tabloid mess evil stories over his own family!This is NONSENSE! I do hope the family put loyal band friends of prince in charge of the music end though.Like Sheila, Wendy & Lisa/Susannah, & Susan Rogers ect. I can't think of anyone else right now but I would disagree with Sheila on keeping it private to never be heard. It's the only gift prince can leave behind for us, his fams!I do think we need people in charge of the music that new Prince best musically though!That would know best what he wanted in reguards to producing the music and albums together the way he would want to. That is hard but if its someone that knew him he best musically and creatively that would be ok in my mind to still respect him and what he would have wanted done with it.If they find he video will in the vault and Prince says he wants the music destroyed then I would have to say HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in that case. | |

I dont think Prince would have saved his music in the VAULT in the first Place if he didnt ever want the music to be heard at some point in life or death.If he didn't like a track that much, he would have erased/destroyed the recording or tracks already if he never wanted it to be heard at all! | |
