Jimmy Jam is the only person who sounds credible talking about Prince now.

He is the only person I believe or can stand to listen to now. Watch him on the DVD in the Condensate album tell the story about how Alexander ONeal blew his chance to b in the Time.

That Gordy clown, for one.

I must say that Van Jones sounded sincere and relevant. You could see his love for Prince and what he did.

You think so? I've read all the interviews Billboard has put out so far and they all seem very heartfelt and genuine. Further, they all seem to paint the same portrait of Prince, which lends to credibility. They all carry the thread of heartbreak and remorse - they've been very touching.

i can think of no one better really. He's got way more than enough credentials. but, just a caution, I don't think Prince's family have any real understanding of what they are about to get into. I can't see anything handled right. You know, Hendrix, when he died, his dad was raked over the coals by the money men, it took a lot of legal wrangling and time (with the help of Paul Allen) to get back the music. Nowadays, Janie Hendrix runs the estate, as a local musician in seattle, i never ever hear a kind word about her from other musicians. However, it seems that she is doing a fairly good job of being a corporate businesswoman. I don't see anyone fit to even do that well for Prince.

Van Jones is somewhat or a fraud, he apparently only knew Prince for a couple of years.

I would en turst Bobby Z, Wendy & Lisa, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis and Morris Hayes as his keepers. In fact, Morris was with him longer than anyone (1992-2012).

Having no idea what I'm talking about, I still think Jam and Lewis should be allowed to curate. They seem to me to be the least emotionally involved in what they might find there, and they also strike me as the only two genuinely sane and level-headed people of the old associates.

they are the best for the job, however, if prince could say anything, he'd say that they are toooooo commercial, and toooo concerned with making hits.

Thizz

If he didn't have a will . . and planned to leave behind that much music . . he really should've had a plan in place to execute his estate. Hopefully they find something like that in the vault

Just hope for the best. Being negative won't help anything or change anything
