Release one album or dvd each year. There is no other artist who will have released so much material over such a long period of time. This will add further uniqueness to his music legacy.

I don't want a full dump. That just seems disrespectful.

Anyone putting forth the idea of a "full dump" is just shortsighted or only thinking of themselves

Alan Leeds and Susan Rogers have already been in the same room as Tyka - the Sunday after Prince's passing.

I saw everybody last night; it was absolutely phenomenal: Wendy and Lisa, Brown Mark, Matt Fink, Bobby Z, Susan Rogers flew in from Boston, Sheila E., a couple of the backline guys, and security and old management. Everybody spoke; I’m sure it was very emotional for the Revolution, as they met prior to coming into the room. Dez [Dickerson] couldn’t be there, [nor could] LeRoy Bennett, who did all of the incredible lighting work during that period. It was great to see everybody and reminisce. The stories were endless. The room was full of tears and laughter, all at the same time. His sister, Tyka [Nelson], showed up near the end and thanked us all. He has a half-brother, Omar [Baker], who spoke to us as well.”

Start with everything that can be packaged in an album form. Begin with a double disc of recent stuff that has no chance of legal problems with WB then get band members from the various eras to help fill in incomplete or rough tracks and release albums just as they become ready but in two disc sets where the second set has the tracks as Prince left them, not added to.

Music videos start with oldest first.

First thing I would be doing is releasing Piano and Microphone Tour Live CD and putting the convert on TV for everyone to see as a sort of memorial

Then give it 12 months to release some new material, possibly start with some Revolution stuff and then work through the different years but only 1 album per year

Does anyone know if any of them were at the recent court proceedings, or at least have commented about it? I assume that if they are serious about taking stewardship, they'd be there (but maybe they don't need to be because they aren't expecting royalties, they just want to produce)? So far I've only heard Prince's family was in talks with lawyers, & I don't know enough about what kind of person Tyka is to say whether she'd be welcome to the "Revolution's" involvement, even if they don't want ownership, she might be possessive (somewhat understandably so).
