The Rolling Stone with Prince & Vanity on the cover, "Prince's Hot Rock". My first serious girlfriend bought it for me back in the day, reminds me of simpler times.

That symbol shirt that came for free with my order of Crystal Ball back then. Was a nice surprise.

The 50th (out of print) anniversary Prince issue of Waxpoetics.

The photo with Morris Day, Jerome and me after hanging out for a day with them in Berlin including sitting next to Jerome during the soundcheck (he directed it) and then doing an interview with the guys for a magazine.

The personal email adresses of some members of both bands (Prince's and The Time).

The Sacrifice of Victor video because i'm in it.

The 98 (?) bootleg of the Cologne aftershow because 1) i can be heard on it and 2) me and my guys were partially responsible for the infamous "cigarette break".

A signed poster by Sheila & Larry.

The "The War" cassette.

The "Jam of the year/Face down" cassette.

The "Livesexy" video (Dortmund) because i was there.

That's all of i can think of right now but there might be more.

Somewhere I have a second, still sealed copy of One Nite Alone Piano. I don't have the courage to find it because it's packed away somewhere in box along with dozens of CD-Rs I made from Napster back in the day or that I received from fellow fans long ago.

I also have the Lotus Flow3r t-shirt, also packed away (now that I'm plumper, there's no way I would wear it).

My least prized possession is Lib's old series of cd-rs.

Things I'm happy I have: ONA Live, Dream Factory, Small Club, various performance videos like First Avenue 83, Birthday Parade, two or three live Purple Rain tour sets, Nude video and cd and maybe thirty other things -- a lot of these have broken diamond cases and I'm sure I put the wrong booklet or cd in the wrong box. I should be tidying this up now but no - not right now.

My "piano and a microphone" tour wristband, which I managed to get off my wrist (eventually) without cutting it. Priceless.

I had all his records but gave away a very long time ago, which I have always regretted...I have few CD's and my precious one is the Black Album and 3 DVDs and a book.

An umbrella that belonged to him, he used it while in Sydney
and left it behind in his hire car

Also have a sheet of black material that he left in the car, he had it there to shield himself from photographers if need be

My album collection which I worked quite hard to amass, the drumstick I caught from the last concert I attended, the ticket stubs, so many friends telling me that I turned them onto Prince in some way, the memories.

yeahthat

These are not my favourites as such, but I'd forgotten I had most of them. Just been in the attic looking for my Prince stuff, and found my collection of music books. Every album from Purple Rain to The Gold Experience, and singles from Kiss to Partyman. I thought I'd stopped getting the albums after about Batman. Cool.

Hah, the Prince comic is there too - with free badge still attached, autographed tour programme, ticket stubs. This is quite a trip down memory lane.
