I would prefer 10 or so unheard traks from the 85-88 time period

I'd love to get Big Tall Wall and Extra Loveable on my album.

I would rather not have an album that mixes different time period together the way the 1997 Crystal Ball release did. Instead, I'd be most interested in albums that were at one time considered for release - for example, I'd love it if they sold Camille, The Dream Factory and Crystal Ball in their original configurations, as well as the original version of Come (noting that there are several different configurations, so they'd have to pick one "snapshot"). For the Revolution period, I'd make some sort of compilation album - let's assume it should be called Roadhouse Garden since that's what Prince was thinking of doing ~15 years ago.

Basically, instead of some sort of "Best of the Vault" compilation, I'd rather have some releases that can work together as collectives the way his current albums do, even if some of them include tracks that already got released (e.g., on SOTT, etc.)

As long as it has "Wednesday", "Moonbeam Levels", "Our Destiny", & "Roadhouse Garden" on it, I'm happy.... for starters. I think it's logical to do one of two things:

  1. Release them in the order they were recorded. The earlier 78-82 stuff might be a bit more scattered to pull together (sans The Time & Vanity 6).
  2. Release The Revolution & SOTT/Lovesexy era stuff first, then go through the rest.

You don't call it "The Vault" . . sounds to anthology like . . you pick a title track
