After the news broke, I took a nap and turned everything off. My phone had blown up as did my facebook page. I didnt think I could see an image of him much less play any of his music. 2 days later when I finally was ready to hear something it was the Parade album. Not just for 'Sometimes it Snows in April' but the whole mood of Parade sort of eased me back in. Songs like 'Under The Cherry Moon', 'Venus De Milo', 'Mountains' and of course 'April' were/and still are what I can bare to listen to on repeat in the car, home. I still need time.

I hear ya. It's going to take a while to ease back into the music. But between the news reports, Siruis radio and the You Tube vids, I haven't had to play any CD's. But I did sneak in "God" and it's making me feel good.
