Curious about reactions from the real Prince associates

Morris Day, Andre Cymone, Dez Dickerson, Jesse Johnson, Vanity and Apollonia 6, Sheila E - people that really mattered in the earliest days. (Fully aware of my exclusion of Wendy and Lisa).

Well, of course, Vanity passed away earlier this year.

You can read some comments from Sheila on her Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/SheilaEDrummer

And Morris - https://www.facebook.com/...ndthetime/

There are also videos of Sheila talking on YouTube, but I found them painful to watch.

They still matter and will always matter. They are part of the Prince legacy. Not like these fake celebs writing tributes for publicity.

Apparantly Apollonia was close to Prince before he died. Shelby said on twitter that Apps updated her a few days ago. They thought, or claimed it was just flu. Clearly Apollonia was speaking to Prince.

He called Dez a few weeks back, so he must have been on Prince's mind. Andre was his brother.

The Revolution, The Time, Morris Day, Steve Parke (who had great stories & pics), Sheila E., St. Paul, Wendy & Lisa, Dez, and many, many others had statements and such on their FB and Twitter pages. Just go find them, they're all there. The last time I looked, I hadn't seen anything from Susannah. Carmen Electra doesnt update her Twitter much. I didn't look at Apollonia's S.M. Sheila is in MPLS, and Tyka showed up at Paisley Park yesterday, saying how much Prince did love his fans, and how he made music for them.

I dont divorce Wendy and Lisa from being band members. I just dont want to hear anything they have to say because they are probably the most inaccurately overrated aspects of Prince history - and they maintain it.

It is good to hear a lot of positive Prince stuff. I know he could be tough on people at times, but clearly he also had a great side where people enjoyed his company.
