Well said I would hate to see trolls on here - we are so grateful to the Org for being the place we can come to greive right now. Many of us have family members but we are the only Prince fam in the home, so this is a welcome place we can visit right now to express our grief without feeling silly and be open in our grief. Thank you Org for letting me cry my Purple Tears here

Thank you Prince for every note you left behind 💜

I support this 100%.

I have been online a lot in the last 24 hours and it seems that not ony here, but pretty much everywhere else, and the response to his passing has been amazing. So many beautiful tributes.

I think Ben did the Org justice and said it very nicely. Great guy for allowing Prince's fan to come here all these years and voice our opinions about whatever Prince was into at the time. Some opinions were cool, some not so cool, but still we were allowed to be here. I'm thankful.

We are all bereft right now. We'll find a way to deal with the loss - maybe not tomorrow, or the next day, but eventually. One day we will be able to hear our favourite track and not crumble into seemingly endless tears.

Prince has been in my life since I was 16, as he would have been for many others here. He's got me through illness, divorce, bereavement and heartbreak. I will never forget coming face to face with him, all too briefly. Memories stay with us forever.

He loved us. His spirit will always be with us, in his music.

I think one of the biggest tributes is the way he has united us here, on Prince.org - for many of us it is the first visit here in some years. But he has gathered his family, and we're here for each other now.

Much love to you all.

God bless you, Prince. Rest peacefully.

prince brought us all together here in this website and also at concerts and events in real life. black white straight gay tall short and so on, we congregated in his Paisley church and we danced in celebration of life and love.

.

and despite our many differences we got along just fine at Paisley church because there was this shiny star sparkling onstage that lit the room so bright no dark corner of our heart could ever remain.

i know we fight on this website and call each other names sometimes, but deep down there is a connective current that runs through us all - the prince vibe. his heartbeat vibe. it's not gone folks, it's still there, if you listen.

.

it's in us. he did that for all of us. i'm so grateful to have had the chance to inhabit this planet at the same time he did and learn from the master.

.

heaven is dancing today, and we should too. never stop saying thanks and never stop dancing... rose

My heart hurts for all of us that are true Prince fans, those that have loved him from when he first came on the scene, and never stopped. Sure, we may have times when we got pissed about one thing or another, but through it all, we never stopped loving him. Like many I'm sure, I never thought this day would ever come, and if it did, we would be too old to be in pain for long or even remember.......how I wish that was the case.

YES!!!! So sad... a sadness like I've never felt before -- like someone ripping my heart out. This must be what it's like to truly experience heartbreak. Watching the TV is surreal. All the tributes... so beautiful, I'm just speechless how much is being done to honor him! Yet everytime I try to get by without crying, I can't. For pete's sake, I'm a 45-year-old man! But the inner me realizes he misses the Prince when he was a 15-year-old teenager. I'm still so surprised and shocked by the news, and I find I start to cry at just the mention or thought of him. The world just won't be the same, nor will music.... and nor will I. I really want to get "over" this - but feel like other people, other that peeps here on the Org, may not be able to relate to how deep this pain hurts.

I slept for maybe three hours last night and woke up a little before 3:00 AM - and I woke up crying, as if tears were what woke me up. While seeing the tributes, newsclips, performances, speeches, and videos, I am reminded how great he was. And just typing that... I feel stupid. "Reminded?" No -- I never stopped thinking he was great. I just wish he would have gotten this kind of love and respect from people while he was alive; he earned it and deserved it. He gave himself to us in song and performances. And what really breaks my heart is to know we won't ever see him do it again -- and he won't ever get this kind or amount of coverage or respect again. That's why I watch the TV - and I do so and say, "Yep, I was there!" and "Yes, I knew that about Prince."

All the posts I've seen regarding P's death have been respectful thankfully.

What is there to say really? Today I woke up and the world felt a lot less magical. I keep saying to myself over and over "Prince is dead"? I can't believe it.

There are no words that can properly express the sadness I feel. Yesterday, I was stunned and devastated. Today, I'm numb. I can't believe I'm going to come on the org and not see any threads about new Prince sightings, appearances, new music and concerts. As I've said, I hardly used to post on the site but always lurked. I never stopped following Prince and his career or stopped being fan.

I can't believe this is life.

Man...Prince was supposed to live forever cry
