Since I was 12 Prince's music has gotten me through some rough times, but was also the soundtrack to many, many more great times. I don't have the words today, so as I've done before I'm going to dig out the vinyl and CDs, turn up the volume and the bass, and let Prince do it for me.

Thank you Prince for everything you gave us. Your music has given me new friends (love to Tony-Mentalist, Angie, Sharon and the 2007 Org crew), got me dancing, taught me to play guitar and piano, inspired me to marry in purple, so so much more.

Rest well funky one, and we'll see you again one day further on down the road.
