The Dawn is amazing.

I think the dawn is better than any officially released album during

the period.

certainly better than TGE.

If officially released, it would have been hands down the best album of the 90's...

This is the album that should've been released...

The Undertaker, Come, TGE, Chaos & Disorder even Emancipation ... Would have all never been released, didn't need to be too imo.

To be honest, if this album was indeed released, would've have been an entirely different outcome for Prince... He would'nt have been this secluded artist that just became irrelevant in the mid to late 90's.

Should've been THE DAWN.

Knowing Prince this would have cost $200 a copy.

I haven't heard The Dawn or seen it anywhere

Wasn't the sequel to Purple Rain originally called The Dawn? Some filmed scenes exist.

The first time I heard about The Dawn was in 1985.It was described as a movie project that Prince was working on.Later in 1989,it was mentioned as one of four movies that Prince was working on.

SoulAlive....That's when I also heard about "The Dawn" (early 1985)..There was talk "The Dawn" would be the sequel to "P.R." and the film would deal with The Kid and his relationship with his father.
