Control is more important than money to Prince. He too knows that he would earn more money in the short run if he was able to do a compromise every now and then. But personally I think he is doing the right thing for the long run. Only time will tell. I remember every one thought he was mad for going indie and changing his name. But then it proved to be a game changing tactic that would inspire so many people to reconsider their deals and how to approach the music industry in new ways. what is the source of the reissue master? the original master tapes submitted to WB back then? the original tapes remastered? the digital master used for CD's? If so I'll just keep the vinyls released back then. | |
