Does just snippets of songs work on the Piano tour??

So what do you all think?

is it cool with y'all to hear only one verse or a verse and chorus of his songs(sometimes less)

on the piano tour?

I think his songs deserve more.

It's like a song like the max (three lines sung) does not even count.

I was irritated when he cut IIWYG after one verse, I would die 4 U after one verse

and a chorus at the Oracle, CA.

the setlists does not reflct SONGS played, it's just snippets of almost every song.

I think Prince should at least do half the songs in full.

I am tired of medleys on EVERY tour since the NUDE tour tbh.

I saw the two shows at Paisley Park. At that point he was doing pretty much full songs. I would much rather have one full song than three snippets of songs. I see hid did the sampler set at the 2nd show in Montreal, which I would think would kind of break the mood of just him and the piano. Although I'm sure the casuals were loving it. I really wanted to see another show, but not sure if I would bother travelling for it now with these changes.

^^

you were lucky, brother,

wish I had gone to PP for those shows.

the sampler at three or four consecutive tours is not good either.

Nope. Hate the ways he does this. Would rather hear 20 complete songs....than 100 bits

I think in the main, Prince has got the right mix of songs and mash up songs in the concerts so far. The way he has joined some songs together has been quite inventive and has added to the overall enjoyment of the show in my opinion. I think the only show where it got a bit bogged down was the beginning of one of the paramount shows , but then he got the right groove going a bit later on.

I've always been irritated by half songs, play it or don't but this one verse one chorus habit makes it annoying to me.

I think the important songs are done full length. It's nice to hear songs mixed up back and forth with others. Keeps it vibrant and interesting because you don't know what's coming next.

Yes true in the shows I've heard - most songs are full length but the ones that aren't are done in clever new 'mash ups.' Not tired cheesy medleys like in the past

I loved the Joy In Repetition Tidal release, but Little Red Corvette/Dirty Mind not so much. The back and forth is annoying in my opinion.
