Prince on WKRP

I am a big fan so I have the box set on DVD which was recently released after gaining the rights to use some of the riginal hit records they used during the original broadcast (they never played any Prince though - you would think Venus Flytrap would have at least once). I am watching the episode called Herb's Dad and there is a scene in which you can see the old 70s Prince poster with the red shorts. I got a big kick out of it and thought I would share cool

I loved this show as a pre-teen. I still remember epically funny lines from it. "As God as my witness, I thought turkies could fly." Also, remember the episode when Venus showed the African-American teen that he could master science. I wish I would have known about Prince's poster being in an episode.

One of my all time favorites growing up. I was pissed when it was cancelled. My fav episode was when Bailey was supposed to go on a date with Johnny Fever and he stood her up. I cried when they played EW&F's After The Love Is Gone. lol I don't remember the Prince poster somehow...

That was a great moment where a few seconds of classic music makes TV better than TV (RIP Maurice WHite). THe poster is not in this episode.

I know. Sorry, I didn't make it clear in my sentence. I have no recollection of the Prince poster in any episode, oddly enough.
