Couldn't agree less. My Name is Prince is the Mona Lisa compared to Shut This Down. I am a Prince fan and appreciate a lot of his recent output, but this song is trying too hard to be something it's not. It's bad. And I'm being kind.

I agree, even the remixes on My name is Prince maxi single are better than Shut this down.

eye 'm loving this song! The vocal cadence and bass lines are hype and I can only imagine the hotties clearing the benches for this joint in the clubs.
