I Love Revelation. Prince brings so many underestimated emotions to the surface.

Within a few lines throughout, this man can bring instant laughter, love, joy and headbanging.

The way he sings it, the desriptions of what he feels is like a motion picture jumping out at U.

Like when signs things like the line below, he adds so much flavor to an already delicious treat!!

Sorry this one bores me. He just can't do a ballad that I like anymore. The last one I really liked was Call My Name. Maybe my tastes have changed but his ballads suck to me now and that was always my favorites from his albums in the past. I am glad others like it though. Just disappointing to me. I guess I like the love/sex ballads

I am sitting alone in my room. here (in montenegro) it's 3 clock in the morning (almost somebody's somebody lyrics :>) and i am supposed to sleep, because i'm must get early...but hitnrun phase 2 happened and i can't sleep, and with my headphones and w/ this song On, i am going places...what a ballad!Bow down It's like...ok, Prince is playing with this Phase thing, something from his vault...and then BUMMM! Revelation....just listen to this. today's ballad in music industry are really.... i can't even see the scale of how low they are comparing to this.

This track is the stuff. Best track on the album and the album is off the hook. Would be very bad ass to be hearing it all for the first time.

Oh lawd, oh lawd, if he has not left the Jehovah's witness faith, he will have been kicked out now. This is nasty and steamy and the sexiest song in ages. Of course I love it, a true gem of a song and that sexified falsetto. Best line.

"The task at hand is keep doing u until u come!" For real, thats 1978 - 1987 Prince right there!!!! Add those noodling rock guitar lines and you have bliss.

I'm thrilled that this song was released. It's my favorite on the album, and in my opinion, can stand with any of Prince's classic ballads. His voice is just heavenly on this. Well done.

An instant classic!! Looong time since he has released something this good. Best track on the album for sure

Now this is a MASTERPIECE! The absolute best ballad he's released since Shhh...

This is pretty durned good. Soothing.

Again this sounds like a really good song on first listen. Not sure about that synth string though, it is not really sitting pleasantly in the mix IMO, could have done with a lower volume and some more reverb maybe. Bit of a sore thumb sticking out as it is now. But a pleasant song, for sure.

This is a masterpiece. You really NEED great headphones or really good monitors to really appreciate it...

I do understand how it may get lost on the male brain...

But MY GOD, this is such a beautiful trip through the depth of P's mind.

That sax or whatever horn it is...is mesmerizing...not a second of this is wasted, rushed or misused.

each second is fully realized leading to the next...it's enveloping as if he's whispering in your ear and guiding you towards ....revelation...

so so pretty, its subliminally dirty and high aspiring simultaneously - and I'd place it in the #4 position of all time great Prince Ballads

Easily the best track on the album.

This is a great vocal, astonishing for sure but it's seriously let down by a kind of competent but ultimately muzak-like backing track that reminds me a music workstation demonstration track.
It has all the skills but it sho don't got me dem chills.

I dunno but musical perfection can be dull sometimes. This track needs to be taken and shaken.

Such a solid tune! Theres a vocal line that reminds me of Kate Bush's "Snowed in at Wheeler Street", which I also love. Stellar track, this one.

I love this tune and is hands down sexy as hell. That shimmering synth playing in the background is haunting.
