It seems pretty common actually and a lot of people say "adieu" Funny that it's on consecutive trax in the album configuration. There's a quiz question for the future. So beautiful and lush with unexpected harmonies and a beautiful, simple melody. And the accordion is perfect, IMHO. No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

It's one of the best songs on the album... but drags like hell. Though you automaticaly assume there are going to be metaphors about female orgasms, none of the lyrics are entertaining enough to keep your ear drawn to the song. The harmonies are nothing special. I daydream and lose focus when it's on. It's not all that, but it's really close to being something special, so I like it more or less. | |
