They ruined my favorite song....but it is still better than that awful cover that Ginuwine did. lol

At least Stan is a bit creative, with all them plastic boxes and trashcans.

I usually shudder when I hear of someone covering a Prince track, but I actually like this, it's different and creative yet the song remains instantly recognizable.

I need than vid...it seemed very much that they had seen the sign o the times tour and saw how the lights and sound were meshed so well, especially in hot thing too, and expounded upon that excelently. But that live cover was killer. The vox were a tadtad off for my preferences, but the tone of the guitar, the drums and keys were KILLER. I think P used a fairlite for the synthesis in thay song and they seemed to use regular synths, but I could he completely wrong. I'm not even quite certain as to what a fairlite is it what it sounds like exactly.


EDIT:
Well...apparently I was talking' out my ass. A fairlite is simply a kind of synth for late 70's/early 80's and muse were using a synth as well.

The Fairlight is not "simply a synth".

The thing was huge and costed more than the Nimitz.

Along with the Synclavier, it's the ancestor of the sampler (for better and for worse).

Without it, no "Hounds Of Love" the album, no etheral bridge in SOTT the song, and that says a lot.
