Sorry dude...could you rephrase the question?

.

The only lyrics in the book are from the Phase One release, with the exception of Like A Mack, which has none of the lyrics listed at all.

.

Full of some amatuer mistakes...like the song is titled THIS COULD B US but all the lyrics right below it are "This could be us" (spelled out "be").

.

If you're going to go with Princebonics, commit to it hard.

BTW...to make u happy...I avoided all princebonics aside from the twitter handle. Lol. On my shitty phone keyboard...sometimes 1 letter is easier than typing a whole word. [Edited 9/17/15 10:23am]

Sorry - my comment about "commit to Princebonics hard" was directed at the mistake in the lyric book ("be" vs. "b") not at you.

.

I guess this shows my level of love for the album - I have not listened to it with the lyric book handy to compare and didn't realize that the book and the song differ.

.

I've got the CD in my car and will have to come back here and transcribe the different lyrics for you since they're difficult to make out in the photos.

.

I really hope there aren't remixes of this thing. Isn't this chocolate mess one big remix show as it is? If there's one song on this disc that needs a remix it's....none of them.

Oops...my bad. I was wondering...cuz all there really was, was a typo...lol...me so stoopid...lol. And BTW...thank for the fill-ins...lyrics still seem silly...but I hope there's more killer basswork. I love the thunder near the end.

I ordered mine at a wreckastore in the village my friend lives. He got the cd, and I'm going there tommorrow, so I will see it then.

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

The CD was released today in New Zealand, well at my store anyway. Great to see a proper case for the first time since Rave (Apart from WB releases like Ultimate) and a booklet. Intriguing there is no WB logo, so that deal has soured already?

.

Usually our CD's are Australian or German, but this one appears to be American like yours, it says "Printed in the USA" and has the warning on the cover.

PS The rug its on may look corny, buyt my mother who is now dead made it for me about 1991.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

I know this may be odd, but I feel sad to see Joshua's name beside Prince's.
Just seems weird...

The lyrics pictured include ShutThisDown. I listened to the track while I read them and there are lyrics in the booklet that aren't in the song. I listened to the track while reading the lyrics in the picture because @Prince3EG had tweeted a reply to a tweet asking why the extra lyrics and I don't have a physical copy yet. @Prince3EG's reply was summin about a remix or another version of the song(presumably imo, on phase 2). I believe the tweet has been deleted, but I specifically remember seeing it.

It was a replyfrom Prince3eg to my question. Yes the tweet has been deleted. It only said "4thcoming remix"

The other thing with This Could B Us is they've printed the full lyrics from the AOA version. Includung the semi hidden lyrics ('my purple psychedelic pimp sac'.... etc)

I think that all instruments thing is a little fib. There's definitely some keyboard lines that only seem very Princely that seem added on top in a few moments here and there.

.

THANK YOU. I was going to post exactly the same observation. Prince has definitely sprinkled other stuff here and there... I hear some keys and some percussion that likely came from Prince.

Better than the horrible cardboard flatpack look. If anything I buy these old cases to put Bootlegs and unreleased albums in them to make them look more authentic. Most of my boots come with cover and slick files too which I print out.

.

Oh well at least its not 80s with the Black on the spine stripe and a black base for it and the disc is a plain one with writing only.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

I bet the guy gave Prince basic beat loops and song section changes, and then Prince fleshed it out with production and edits, and then the guy helped with putting effects and stuff on top of that.

All you have to do is look at someone's past work and patterns to get a hint of their contribution. Also, Prince has given credit to people in the past even if they didn't have all that much to do with it as the credit literally implies. There's interviews with past collaborators that show that the credits can be favors or promotional efforts in themselves to help them out in the biz.

For example that keyboard line that snakes through one moment of "June".

The artwork is a bore though. I like the image as an icon and for use as an icon, but it's not strong enough for cover artwork. And no effort went to the design of the inside. I guess Tidal didn't pay enough to have a graohic designer work on this a bit longer.

Yeah, and also in 'Ain't About 2 Stop', where the percussion and Princely synth chords hit. Yes, there have many times where Prince gave credit to others that didn't perform the parts. The 'Lovesexy' album, 'Planet Earth' album, and likely the 'Parade' album.
