Is it wrong to cheat on Tidal?

Im enjoying the new album and as such, I'm feeling a little bit "fammy" lol Working off the theory that if Hit&Run gets a lot of plays we're more likely to get more new music and/or other goodies...

Why not cheat?

Tonight before you go to bed, why not leave the album playing on mute all night? Got more than one device? I've had the album playing all day none stop, just using the mute button when I wasn't listening.

Just thought I'd put it out there.

These kinds of services know if one account is playing something multiple times - after a set number, it won't count as a new play anymore.

i signed up for the trial - just to hear the new album, but too be honest i really like the whole tidal experience - very simple and direct, easy to navigate - plus we have nearly all of his albums on there in one place. i think i might stick around there.

I typed "Prince hitnrun" into google and got the album in flac, I assume that counts as cheating.

Same here. I was very skeptical of these types of subscription services at first but I'm actually quite enjoying it. The sound quality is great and Im getting the opportunity to explore lots of other music I haven't heard before from other artists.

Change it one more time..

I must say that is super awesome using Tidal. All of those albums in one place, and the sound is magnificent.

I'm not sure that's true at all. It's a streaming service. If someone plays something multiple times then they're listening to it... thats the service the company provides.

You're saying that after you listen to something X number of times Tidal stops counting and thus stops paying artists?

Some of you all are slick that got to listen outside of Tidal. I wonder does Prince hire some computer geeks to sabotage some of the other sites outside of Tidal or its just other hackers on their own that f'd/mess with them not to work? lol
