What happened to "Free Urself"?? Hey, whatever happened to "Free Urself" - I thought it had a classy album cover (something which has been missing fora while).
Does anyone think that there may be another album on the horizon or that this album has just morphed into Hitnrun. If anyone has Prince's number just give him a call and see if he can clarify it - would be much appreciated | |

My understanding is that Stare is on this album. Speculatively, Revelation. Hopefully, this is phase two. | |

Maybe that's phase 2 seems like he was more interested in promoting this remix cd of josh. Prince never gives clear answers and the people around him now are just rebots programmed to say and do what Prince wants them to do | |

Is there even an album called FreeUrself? All we had was that picture and then orgers jumped to the conclusion that there was an album, but I can't remember anyone in the Paisley camp ever saying anything of the sort. [Edited 9/5/15 0:36am] | |

He only dropped a dozen hints that there were phases. He's not known enough for preparing and/or releasing two, three discs of music under his own name or with associated artists either simultaneously or phased over a few months, like 1999 /Purple Rain with protégés albums, the three-disc initial Crystal Ball, Dream Factory/Sign O' The Time, the actual Crystal Ball collection he released, Emancipation, the Lotusflow3r project... And he released AOA/PLEL at the same time so long ago, who'd figure he has a second album or even a third record scheduled?

He also mentioned the possibility of Jay-Z or Kendick Lamar remixing these tracks in the future. There's every possibility THEY would form any future "Phases"... "Had to get off the boat so I could walk on water..." |

It just looked awesome as an album cover, one of his best in years, and I'm so feeling the concept from the title.
Let him work through this Josh/JayZ faze and get back down to business later. I'm still enjoying AOA/PE, which will hold me over till next year at least. | |
