Just to let you all know first off, I am not a creepy guy, but a female writer. I have had this cassette single in my colllection since I was about 13, and I always thought the model in the black top under the word "world" was so exotic looking. She was a muse for a character of mine. (I am referring to the girl to the right and not the 60's mod looking one). Do we have any idea who she is, or who any of the girls are on this cover? The story I heard was Prince used non-models for this cover?

I think they are all pictures that were sent to prince from members of the public. Didnt thay request this at the time to maybe have the chance to appear in the music video?

As reported in The Vault -

Adverts were placed in various publications (US, UK, The Netherlands and Spain) during December 1993 stating:

"Eligible bachelor seeks the most beautiful girl in the world to spend the holidays with"

Applicants were asked to send videos or pictures to Paisley Park, with seven people chosen to appear in the promotional video for the song. A further number of people, who didn't make it to the promo video had their picture included on the sleeves of the single release.
