Prince on "Rove Live", 11 May 1989 I can’t remember ever having seen Prince talking via satellite in an interview that was supposedly aired in Australian program "Rove Live" back in ’89. Is there some hidden spot somewhere on the net or at least a transcript of this? Thanx already for letting me/us know! Free the music.

It's from 2004 and you can find it on YouTube. Always cry 4 love, never cry 4 pain.

Actually, I don’t think we’re talking about the same thing here. Check out this info:
http://www.princevault.com/index.php/Prince_Vault:Selected_anniversaries/May_11
It states "11 May 1989" as the "birthday" of said Lovesexy-era interview.
Or has this particular conversation been aired again 15 years later? Free the music.

Rove Live wasn't even on television in 1989. The host himself wans't even doing comedy by that time.
It's be a mistake. Always cry 4 love, never cry 4 pain.

Judging from his height, probably not. Always cry 4 love, never cry 4 pain.

He was about 15, it seems. Quite unusual though to find such misinformation on princevault. It is even being claimed that the interview took place via satellite. Now, where did this detail come from then? However, this wasn’t even the "Lovesexy era" anymore – with all three legs of that tour over. Someone should inform princevault though. Last time I pointed out omissions regarding the Lovesexy aftershow in a tent outside Paisley Park, there wasn’t even a brief "thank you", so I’ll leave this to someone else this time. . PrinceVault should use the Moderation extension so everybody can edit, but edits aren't going live and instead are sent to moderation. That way they still have 100% control and they will (hopefully) see plenty of additional information. © Bart Van Hemelen
