Cynthia Horner is the one that REALLY discovered prince . Cynthia made prince a BLACK teen idol. Right On Magazine was the publication I first heard about prince in 1978/79. They're the first to publish any articles on him..

It's in that magazine that I first found out prince was a gifted,young & BLACK musical genius..

Why does she NEVER get credit for this? prince listed her in his earlier album credits..

Prince is no difference than other legacy artist who are struggling to get airplay and not all of the music is awful radio would just rather play Nicki Manaj who will never make it to 30 albums and if she does they will all suck. Funny you do not realize that if Prince only has 15 good ones he still has a better track record than all artist today.

I know Prince is his name. I also know he went back using it over a decade ago. But prince is his TRADEMARK image....That he has emblazoned on EVERYTHING!.I will continue to call him that as much as I want. Whether U like it or not.....Deal with it or excuse ursslf to another thread...

his legal name has always been Prince. He never legally changed it to the symbol.

It is because when people used to call him "His royal badness", something that pretty much got lost in the name change, they only said it once. They didn't use it 5-10 times in just a few sentances, they'd say it once then say Prince the rest of the time.
