Eye wonder how The Revolution feels, that two bands of prince's have been allowed to have albums out, 3EG going on Number# 2. Buth theirs was shelved permanently(RoadHouseGarden).... biggrin

eye will ALWAYS think of prince like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. eye mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that prince wasn't of this earth, eye would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. prince

I'm happy to hear there will be a second album, as I love them as a live band. Hopefully, they won't take the wrong turns they took on PE. I'd like to hear more songs in the vein of "Wow" and "Another Love", which are among my favorite Prince songs ever, and less like "Boytrouble".

I'm hoping they took some inspiration from Alabama Shakes visit to Paisley Park. Brittany Howard is a true rock frontwoman, not Hannah. I'd rather hear Prince sing lead, but if he has to have a woman, I think Liv is much more suitable.

.
I'm sure members of The Revolution feel like part of a legendary global phenomenon and 3rdEyeGirl is a bit blind to their pop culture irrelevance, thrilled to be working with a living legend.

Sorry to bother you Americans but we still don't know what 'sophomore' is in the rest of the galaxy never mind this new 'sophmore' variant.
I know there's google but I always press the 'I'm feeling lucky' button before entering the search term so that's not working for me.

I hate to be a know-it-all to you younger Prince fans but he's not a living legend.
He died in 1993.
It says so IN BIG LETTERS on the 'Come' LP for funk's sake.

.
One of just a small number of things about which Prince has changed his mind.
.
"sophomore" for those who speak in terms of "flats" and "bangers and mash": http://english.stackexcha...-sophomore

By "The Time" prince christened them "The Revolution" he had already FIVE One-Man-Band albums under his belt without them.He was already a phenomenon by himself. prince NEVER needed "The Revolution". They needed him...

I don't even know what we are arguing about. But I'm sure you're right - Prince is obviously the kind of person who shares the spotlight with others and gives credit unnecessarily. If he didn't need them, then he'd give them top billing in the movie that would make him a superstar. Makes sense.
