Prince working with artists of this generation

Sometimes I get really confused. There are sooo many artists for Prince to choose from to work with, and sometimes he is spot on (Janelle Monae, Judith Hill, Andy Allo). Then he gets real confusing and decides he will work with Rita Ora on her new album. I read in a recent magazine interview that there will definintely be Prince music on her 2nd album (first one in the states). I really dig her style and what not, but if the "Single Most Amazing" snippet didn't surface about 2 years ago I wouldn't have thought to pay attention to her.

.

Then there's groups like Little Dragon. Who are on such a Purple Electric High, yet still are so original in their work. Now if Prince collaborated with them, even for one song! That could be magical. Granted they will be just fine without his contributions. If any of you haven't listened to their work dive right on in! Sometimes I feel like Prince isn't really listening to what this generation of musicians have to offer. Sure he hears some good stuff here and there, but there are artists out there doing some beautiful stuff. Do they need his recognition? Probably not. But I would much rather hear what he could do with Little Dragon or Outkast (RIP), possibly even Alicia Keys...than music with an "artist" like Rita Ora.

I understand what you're saying. I would love if he collaborated with FKA Twigs!

If it breaks when it bends, U better not put it in!

FKA Twigs did do a show at Paisly Park in November, so I guess it's not out of the question that there might be something coming involving the two working together.
