Once again, at the 11pm (afterparty) show at the Warner Theatre in DC Sunday 6/14, Prince did a brilliant bluesy smoking hot version of "Nothing Compares 2 U;" and as valiant as that and other efforts are, he should probably just give up attempting to reclaim that song with his vocal chops.

Sinead got that song and did what any sane talented red blooded human female would do: She sang the sh!t outta that song and put her Irish stamp/stank on it so no one else could ever touch it — even the brotha who gave it to her.

I'm not mad a her. Prince shouldn't be either. Just let her have it and move on.

Are you a little bit nuts. Prince has been nailing the song ever since he stopped doing it as a duet with shelby. On the last uk tour in particular, it was a highlight. Although i must admit, the last few shows i have heard from this year, his voice hasnt quite sounded as strong as last year.
