Royalties for the whole album were shared with the whole band while research by Nilsen says that P was, in fact, the sole writer of all tracks but Get Wild (co-composed by Sonny). I don't see how they could get more credit than they did being credited on the booklet and getting royalties for songs they didn't write... More of a "Prince" album than Goldnigga. With Exodus, you even feel his presence when you listen to the music.
In my opinion, it's one of the best, if not the best work he put out in the 90s. Uncompromised, warm and fat sounding funk jams. | |

My criteria to define whose artist an album is isn't the name on the cover but who are the main creative forces behind the project.
