Prince is the master of dirty wicked guitar

Just listened to Voodoo Who and Baltimore...whoa! Dirty guitar sound/tones at their finest. P always makes the guitar sound different on every song. I can't name a single other guitarist who does that. Jimi Hendrix was the best at every damn thing on guitar but P...

P must have custom guitar tones because I haven't heard anybody else replicate his guitar sound on any of his songs.

Batdance, ICNTTPOYM, The Cross, Lady Cab Driver, 777-9311, The Bird, Chocolate, Sign O' the Times, Gett Off, The Walk...

Bring Hit n' Run to Memphis... we're waiting!

I'm going 2 have 2 agree. He has more distinctive sounding solo's that anyone I've ever listened 2 or studied.

Stimpy

Its not his rig, which is pretty simple and can be bought off the shelf anywhere.

IT IS IN HIS HANDS AND HIS HEAD, which are another thing entirely

Its cuz, despite reports and records, prince is from Boston. Its part of a conspiracy of both the Celtics AND prince to not be associated with each other. The racial component of the rivalry between Boston and L.A. is the source of this perceived need on both of their parts. Prince subsequently manufactured records of birth and became the silentest of silent partners in an expansion team, the Timberwolves, which have performed poorly. Poorly even in the stanrards of expansion teams and stoking uo the fire that became PFunk/F.U.N.K..

Unknown truths of truth.

I think you're onto something.

.

He had a Dirty Mind. In Dinner With Dolores, she was dancin' like a white girl on disco dirty floors. In Laydown, he was guaranteed to bring the dirty new sound.

.

Makes sense that he'd be the master of the dirty wicked guitar.

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

Agreed.

But I also love hearing him play the bass guitar.

Grits and gravy, cheese eggs and jam...
Butterscotch clouds, a tangerine and a side order of ham.
