I feel bad that I don't have many albums beyond the 1980's on the list. I struggled with including Emancipation, 3121, Musicology, LotusFlower, TGE and AOA, which are all great albums, but they really don't crack the top 8. Which album would I remove from my top 8 to include one of those? I dig his new stuff and I'm a bit of a Prince snob because I don't think the fans that don't appreciate his recent music are true fans, but I guess I'm just like most folks.
