Let's Pretend We're Married 30 Something Years Later

It still sounds as good as yester year. Music is still killer. Actually the language really isn't that bad compared to what's out there today. If it was released today how do you think it would do? People's perception of it today?

This song still sounds as fresh and vital as it did in 1982 headbang

Everything on that album has aged really well, imo.

...sorry but that sound would do nothing today. Sounds extremly 80s. And musically not really killer. But thats my opinion. Never liked that cheesy hippie chant

a funny story about this song....

In 1983,I was in a record store and this song was playing in the store.I was looking through the racks of albums and there was a young lady across from me.When the song got to the "really dirty" part (you know...."I sincerely wanna....."),the girl acted all disgusted and started saying "I'm sure!!" biggrin that was Valley Girl talk back then...lol....

my funny Prince story of the day,lol

Great song and great video! First time I heard this song I was only 7. I kept rewinding my casette tape back over the "dirty" part because I wasn't sure Prince had said what I thought he actually said... LOL

My two favorites are "Automatic" and "Something In The Water (Does Not Compute)".

"Automatic" is actually my favorite Prince song.

I was 13 and it was Prince's artistic uses of the F word in so many different contexts that cemented me as a fan.
