Because.... Prince's old music is in my blood. music

I am still hoping for something interesting to happen, like the remastered Purple Rain 2Cd.

And remasters of the whole Warner catalogue 1978 to 1995.

Also every new release may not be as great, but some of the songs are ok/ good.....

These are my reasons. wink

Because in my eyes he's the greatest musician and performer that I have ever seen or experienced. He is so gifted as a musician and he is equally gifted as a visionary artist. I'm amazed at the wonderful world he has created and how he has expressed it musically. I also admire his visionary ways. He always pushing the boundaries and exploring uncharted territory. He has given me so many happy memories and his music has been a constant companion of mine for the last 35 years. I'm never bored by him and I'm always grateful to have is music nearby. His music has made me a better person and for that I'm eternally grateful. I admire his want and need to bring the funk and give joy to the thousands and millions of people that see him live. I don't agree with many peoples sentiment here on this site. He is generous and caring gives back all the time. In the end I continue to follow him because he is the leader of bringing funky and loving music.

Great thread btw

The body of work, raw talent, a song for any mood and accepting not to expect anything so as to avoid a lot of frustration and disappointment.

I believe he's one of the most talented, hardworking, prolific, and endlessly fascinating figures in music history.

All artists —hell, all people — go through endless creative ups and downs. It's what makes us all human.

But this new up for me cuts deeply: AOA, a couple of tracks on PE that suggest a new rawness in rock, and now Judith Hill (real producer and collaborator of other great ideas).

If this all ends tomorrow, I'm now totally cool with that. But logically speaking, I think he has the same type of prolific genes of Woody Allen.

Better exercise and get your rest or you might not get to see it all. smile

I'm in love. I'm in awe. I'm inspired.

There is so much more than 'just' the music.

Prince swims upstream at every opportunity.

I love that sh*t SO MUCH.

I admire his creative abilities songwriting singing dancing acting him as a performer producer they way he plays the guitar and all the other instruments he plays. The fact that he stood up to Warner Bros to get his masters back! The charities he's promoted to help others! The fact that he continues to keep music coming to the public even to this day. The proteges he's helped musically! I LOVE YOU PRINCE!!! KEEP THE MUSIC COMING! People on the org please remember that Prince is not perfect he's human with feelings and emotions just like us so be kind and stop being so hard on him he has worked hard for us and to get where he is today!!! Oh yeah he's sexy as hell !!!!!

There's no such thing as a Prince-aholics Anonymous program. Although, for the last 10 years or so, it has really seemed like he's been trying to start it his damn self. hmmm

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.
