Prince can't get a proper tour off the ground. Prince can't get new music out where anybody notices. Prince can't properly monetize his back catalog. Prince can't coast off his legacy like his peers.

Nobody should take business advice from Prince. The guy is terrible at it.

Paul McCartney isn't free but he could book a world tour tomorrow that would sell out on his name alone, he can collaborate on a song with some one and have everybody talk about it the next day and he can still release whatever weird sideproject whenever he wants.

.

Don't bring facts into this discussion! Careful, next thing you know Aerogram will attack you because he's unable to refute anything you said.

Those ^ aren't facts, those are subjective opinions and conjecture.

He's a kid from 1987.

Still doing rap which was over by the time he was 20.

So he's filling a niche.

What is that "To Pimp A Butterfly" about, then?

Still no mp3, flac or wav which could end the gossip and start the discussion.

Go online and listen to it. He is doing something different with Hip/hop the level of ignorance on this board about RnB and black culture is mind boggling.

What Prince sold in the past is in the past. This is now. In 2015, he can't sell new music on the level that Kendrick Lamar can.

prince doesn't have to. His legacy speaks for itself.

BTW U do remember, just a few months ago, prince still debuted not one but TWO albums @#1. Still after 36 years in the muziq business.

Let's see where Kendrick will be @ or sale in 36 years. Will he have peeps, still trying to bootleg his THOUSANDS of songs in his vault, while still alive? I doubt it..

In terms of how to sell music TODAY, Prince doesn't have any answers. What he did when the industry was totally different is basically apples and oranges. It's a new game, from 1984. Prince has released a series of flop albums. He can't play the game, successful artists play in 2015.

Everytime Prince gets in an artists' head, he blows their career up. Hopefully Kendrick tuned out, when Prince started talking.

Very few artist are selling large volumes today much less anyone in their 50s but you keep talking shit and ignore the facts. Prince put a cd in the RnB top ten with no airplay please name me someone else who is doing that if you can't just he'll up.

No, Prince is not relevant. The Prince of 30 years ago is revered, but nobody gives a fuck about his current music, INCLUDING PRINCE HIMSELF.

"Nobody" gives a fuck except you've been following his every move for at least two decades and probably get his new music as soon as it leaks. Didn't you recently start some kind of site as well?

A good way of proving just how irrelevant you think Prince is would be to stop doing that. Like, just stop following him, DON'T help create new websites, that kind of thing.

Note that this advice is not very different from what I'd say to a guy who keeps telling me just how done he is with his ex, over and over and over, showing you recent pictures to let you know she's (IYO) "letting herself go", telling you about the latest "idiotic" thing she tweeted, etc. "BRO shut up about it or face the fucking fact you've got a bad fixation."

.

And once again you fail to address the content and instead launch a personal attack.

.

You lose, I win.

No you lose because you never respond to the many valid comments about your or even explain why you are on this site.

I've pointed this out THOUSANDS of times on here! Many on here want prince to fail. U can pull all the facts. They wlll ALL continue to throw him under the bus, like the same ones always do...disbelief

But keep the positivity going. U will be rewarded like I have... wink

eye will ALWAYS think of prince like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. eye mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that prince wasn't of this earth, eye would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. prince
