Blows his head off. Rebirth as a Prince jam session? Are there any hints why this recording is called Rebirth of the Flesh? One of my favourite movies of all time. So much one can blow your mind by using practical effects instead of boring CGI.

I saw that movie in the theatre some months ago, I thought about that reference too lol. Very lame movie, with horrible acting, and nonsense script. It kind reminded me of Graffiti Bridge

More likely, "Rebirth of the Flesh" = Christ. As in a ressurection. Resurresction. How do you spell that?

But yes, Prince uses it in the song in a horror vibe, even with that horror reaction horn line punctuating it.

Of course, I bet Prince knows all about Videodrome, he is a movie fanatic! And a scifi movie fan too. He's referenced so many movies in his work.
