I must say it is easy to forget just the sheer amount of effort, design and thought that Prince puts into his image. The sheer magnitude of the number of photo's that emerge from the Prince camp beyond those taken in concerts is staggering.

I remember a quote from him taken from The Guardian "Prince misses the days "when I could walk the street without being harassed and bothered". He remembers the first time he realised he was famous, around 1979. "It happened very fast. I had some old clothes on because I was going to help a friend move house and some girls came by and one went: 'Ohmigod, Prince!' And the other girl went," he pulls a face, "'That ain't Prince.' I didn't come out of the house raggedy after that."

Whaaaat?! I've never read that interview. Sounds great!

I got two sides... and they're both friends.

At first I didn't recognise him in that straight hair wig. He looks like a member of one of those funk bands that have 20 guys in it.
What?

When is this picture from? I kinda want those shades. Don't think I've ever seen Prince rock a full goatee.

It's from the first time he did the Essence Festival. He came out in disguise and roller skated across the stage before playing his set. lol

Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.
