I think if this was a bootleg release folks wouldn't be so hard on this album, but since there was so much hype leading to this release (if you're a Prince fan) that this album fell flat for many who had much enthusiasm for it. It's not a strong album at all, there's some strong songs, but not enough.

Okay, time to put the mic in front of you and ask you: how would you have done the song differently? And while I'm at it, how is it that you don't think it's a strong album, but there are so many who think differently? Maybe it's just that you don't get the album and are passing that off as dislike? I don't mean to be pushy, but I just wonder about Prince fans sometimes.

1. Wow (4:27) Does not sound like a Prince song to me, which is good I think?
2. Pretzelbodylogic (3:26) Has such potential to be better though.
3. Aintturninround (3:01) Weak lyrics & vocals
4. Plectrumelectrum (4:51)^{1 Cool song, could be improved.}
5. Whitecaps (3:42) weak vocals, otherwise pretty song
6. Fixurlifeup (3:12) needs improvement, not a fan of the chorus
7. Boytrouble (3:52) for some reason I like this it's funky & I like the rapping
8. Stopthistrain (3:40) Like the sound, not the song
9. Anotherlove (4:15)^{2 It's ok, but I think this & WOW is were they really perform well together.}
10. Tictactoe (3:37) Like the sound, but horrible lyrics, sounds like W&L
11. Marz (1:48) MEh, can't get passed the lyrics, Prince shouldn't sing about Mickey D's
12. Funknroll (4:09) Could still be improved, but it's cool

As for Aintturninaround; I love Donna's guitar work & parts of the song, but it just doesn't do much for me. The song should start & finish with the guiatar solo, but leave out prince vox over.

Not everyone is going to agree on everything I get that, but I think most here agree, this is not his strongest album. I like the girls & hope there's a follow up album because they're a strong live act & can pull it off, but this was a weak effort imo.
