By the way, you may already know Carmen has released some dance tracks since then for whatever it's worth. The one I heard sounded like Kesha to me.

nod the latest one is called "Werq" and it was released last year

I liked Go go dancer back than...even bought the cd single with remixes boxed

Speaking of the remixes, I've had the Fantasia Dub/Dub Erotica versions of Fantasia Erotica on heavy repeat lately and as much as I like them, something's bugging me. The bit at 0:54 is, I'm pretty certain, a sample. But does anyone know the track? I'm surprised it's not on WhoSampled as I recognise it from a popular 90s house track...

Rioub

I think "The Juice" was removed from the album before the other changes. I've read that it was a CD only track, but I have the artwork (but not the CD) for the original configuration CD, and "The Juice" is entirely missing, so unless it was a hidden track, it had already been dropped.

Levi was involved in a SHITLOAD of Prince songs between 1989 and 1992, he'd either finish stuff for Prince based on demos Prince gave him, or they'd toy with ideas together in the studio. He also received a lot of co-writing credits during those years. For some reason Prince had a lot of faith in his talents and obviously felt comfortable working with him.

.

Which makes what happened aftwards so tragic (I'm talking about his 1998 lawsuit.)

Levi is one thing, but it is hilarious that Tony M would sue over songwriting royalties...Cmon Man!
