Also Madonna looks like a straight up fool now,for not changing her raunchiness, whose skin has been stretched and pulled more than play - doh....

I agree. Personally, I think that when one hits a certain age of maturity, no one wants to see you trying to be raunchy and nasty, the way you were when you were in your 20's.....that's gross, and a total turn off.

If her raunch and nasty are authentic then please continue. But, if it's dosed like Miley's than; No thank you.

The part of his Arsenio interview where he talks about going there just to find the ledge really resonated with me. So for me, it's not per se about him being "nasty" at this age. It's about his choice to not perform certain kinds of songs because they don't fit him anymore. It took some getting used to, but I could feel how Prince being those ways seemed like a gimmick to him. That's why I think Plectrumelectrum means so much to him. I don't think he's promoting it too much because it's him going back to the purity of the music.

Plus, what I appreciate more than the naughty side is the sensuality in his songs. There's still plenty of that on both albums, minus that dreadful "sex with me is not enough / that's why we got to do it meta-phy-sick-lee" bit on This Could Be Us. That was what led me to wonder if he was poking fun at himself a little, but that line was like a lead balloon. Only "when she makin' love it's like surgery" is worse. But the atmosphere on songs like "Stopthistrain" and "Time" is just damn sexy.

I don't. I think it would be pretty damn silly of him to be nearing 60 and still singing songs like Sister or Head. I sure don't plan on talking about that ish when I'm that age. beatdeadhorse beatdeadhorse beatdeadhorse beatdeadhorse beatdeadhorse

U probably won't be getting or giving head either right?

Oh Lord, here we go again with stuff shirts thinking folks are supposed to become goodie two shoes just because they've gotten older. It's a wonder if they were even Prince fans in the first place. lol

Hell, look at Millie Jackson, Bobby Rush, and Denise LaSalle who are much older than Prince and make nasty music. Then, there was LaWanda (Aunt Esther) Page, who was XXXXX explicit (don't let the church lady "Esther" character fool you, check out her stand up routine....naaaaaasty....raunchy....and bad as hell! Even Betty White has become nasty and she's old as hell these days. However, she's a cool old person and not a goodie two shoes. Like Fred Sanford used to say when he was accused of being a dirty old man....."And I'll be a dirty old man until I'm a dead old man". lol

And Oh Lord, here we go again with folks wanting him to curse and talk smut all the time. It's not like that's all there is to life. I mean, this is a funk party, not a Nazi party, right? We can all have our opinion, right?

spit A funk party? Well, considering that the only funky thing on that last album was "The Gold Standard", it's starting to feel more like a sellout party.

.

As for wanting him to cuss or talk smut, where did I personally say I wanted him to do that? Hell, I know better than to even wish for that because it would never happen considering what a nitwit he's become these days. He's like a flashy Jimmy Swaggart. I was just commenting on the fact in general of a lot of people around here acting like people become goodie goods once they become older. Hell, there are plenty of absolutely filthy older people out there and their fans love them for it. But I have seen around here with a lot of Prince fans, that they change their own tastes to match whatever tastes or ideas that Prince has.

I'm not saying Prince should be raunch and Nasty, but Madonna to be, if she's authentic about it. I just see ageism with regards to this subject. Push those boundaries Madonna.

I heard Madonna's next video is going to be a sequel to Erotica, and feature her in the middle of a lemon party
