This is a great track.

First lyrically. Prince's opening verse followed by Andys verse is sublime. "You used to treat me like David/now I feel like saul" - "Your name ain't David/and it sure ain't Saul". Manages to be deep, and self depreciating, with Andy then basically telling him to grow up and stop feeling sorry for himself. I think it's a great moment.

The song is called "This is what it feels like" and the title is echoed in the melancholy tone of the music. The music is his description of what it feels like as he pines for the girl who's given him the cold shoulder.

............Except she's not giving him the cold shoulder, there she is and says ......' here I am come take me'

So you've never heard of Google, let alone Princevault.com?

Ppl like u and Bart always attack ppl for asking a question on a Prince forum.

If we should go to google and princevault always to find out our information than we do not need prince.org anymore.

.

No, it's YOUR attitude that has ruined Prince forums. Why is StackExchange the leading Q&A site for so many things, especially programming? Because they're harsh and punish people for asking bad questions and giving bad answers. Because when you do that: THE CREAM RISES TO THE TOP.

.

Instead you lot are always so busy dragging shit down to your level, and the result is that most people with knowledge and/or insight are long gone. Because they're sick and tired of seeing the same lazy crap over and over again.

.

Princevault exists, so that should be the first stop before asking a question. Can't find it there? Next stop is Google, because if it involves something old, chances are it has been asked and answered before. IMHO threads like these should be policed harshly: show your work. Haven't even bothered to Google something? Thread gets closed, OP gets a ban for a day or so. Repeat offender? Longer ban.

.

Instead we get threads like this, with a crappy title and a question that could have been answered by visiting one goddamn website, a fucking WIKI. This is the same shit as back in the 1990s when people were too fucking lazy to read the PPML FAQ or the a.m.p FAQ, but back then you'd rightly be mocked for not doing so.

.

It's bad enough that no one could be arsed to use the wiki available on the Org, so please let's point people towards the decent work done by Princevault.

Bart, go sit in front of a window and drink your chamomille -- it will sooth your nerves, then you'll remember no one made you Org Cop. You could always apply for a job as moderator, but something tells me your moderating skills are not top of the line.

What It Feels Like is a great slow funk, minimalist groove. It's like a cross between Come On and some of the sentiment on Dorothy Parker.

But he is right, princevault is there for a reason, if no one uses it, why have it. It's not hard to type into Google whenever you want to know something.

Wasn't feeling it all when it leaked way before the album. However in its entirety (the last few seconds = cloud9) and in the comfy confines of the album, it works. Haven't listened to AOA or Plec in a minute. Was bumpin' 'em (especially AOA) like crazy when they came out confused .

For all time I am with you, you are with me.
