Prince released several singles from both albums in 2013 from lol to fixyourlifeup with videos and they didn't catch. So eye think Prince understands that more marketing would be risky. I know most of u feel that Prince shouldn't worry about sales but, eye think as fans we would like to see his music prosper. So other generations can appreciate a living legend.

Basically u say Prince released tracks from the albums in 2013 -> They didn't sell (they didn't?) -> He realized the 2 albums suck or, at least, are unable to seduce an audience -> He decided to release them anyway just because, well... we don't know why -> He decided not to promote them because the more people would hear what's in them, the less people would buy them, so the best way to sell a lot is to make sure no one hears a thing from the album and make a blind purchase -> Prince has found a new, revolitionary way to sell crappy albums: make sure no one hears anything from them and everyone will buy them for sure!
