Share your Lovesexy playlist

Prince's albums are brilliant but like a majority of the fans, I've made several of my own customized "era" playlists (my favorites are Sign O the Times, Batman, Cherry Moon, ATWIAD, etc...)

Anyways, I made my own Lovesexy playlist but it was pretty bare and not deviating much from the original track list. For some reason, the outtakes from this period seem of lesser quality, even in terms of sound..? Lovesexy's a great CD but its 9 tracks pale when I compare them to my 15-16-17 track playlists for other albums

Could be I just suck at making a proper playlist for this era. So I'd love to see everyone's Lovesexy era playlists that do this great era justice cool

Maybe eye do, just not like eye did before pimp2

@mikeallsopp nice! That sounds interesting, will try it.

got some questions though.

"Capulets Garden", "Lovesexy en francais Interlude", what are these two?

from the lovesexy live shows, just the spoken interludes - best taken from budoken 89', it improves the flow of the album IMO

Sorry, track 1 is not delia derbyshire, but Roger Limb and the track is 'passing clouds' - info from wikipedia:

Out of This World is a 1976 library recordings release of atmospheric sounds and effects from the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. The album was divided into four sections (two on each side), each representing a different theme: "Outer Space", "Magic and Fantasy", "Suspense and the Supernatural" and "The Elements".

The album was produced by Glynis Jones and features sounds created by the various members of the Workshop. While many of the tracks are basic sound effects, such as those from the TV series Doctor Who, others are like ambient music, designed to create soundscapes rather than fulfilling a specific music or sound effects requirement.

The album was re-released on CD in 1991 in simulated stereo as Essential Science Fiction Sound Effects Vol. 2. It was released on vinyl LP by AudioGo and Discovery Records on 21 April 2012 as part of Record Store Day.[1]

Track 61, "Passing clouds", by Roger Limb, was used on "Eye No", the opening song on Lovesexy, the album by Prince, released in 1988. It was also released as "Clouds", but wrongly credited to Delia Derbyshire, on a 2-CD bootleg called "Wow!", released by "Eye" Records in 2008.
