Great sounds and harmonies, well recorded, very intimate and lush.

I'm looking forward to both albums even more now.

Great word to describe the vocal. Still a little uninthusiastic for me, but I still enjoy this subdued track. It seems to be a nice bridge between the more energetic plectrum and fulu. Though at the end of this I'll be knowing to press skip. Princes vox on fulu sound whiny and petulant to me in some fashion...me no likey.
I might get shot for this...but I'd rather l.o.l was there instead fulu...and l.o.l. is decidedly not the greatest.(I really like l.o.l....shhh...don't tell anyone)

Well Madonna was on Love Song with Prince and she is the worst singer of all time ever.

Let's remember that this is a 3RDEYEGIRL album so I expect Hannah may take lead vocals on a couple of tracks, musically it reminds me a little of Fleetwood Mac. It's growing on me after 3 listens! [Edited 9/1/14 11:56am]

Hannah does lead on AINTTURNINROUND, WHITECAPS, BOYTROUBLE, and STOPTHISTRAIN. Not sure about TICTACTOE.

I like this song. It's much better than the AOA stuff. Hannah's voice is pleasant, and I'm interested what she sounds like on Aintturinround (described by someone on the org as the heaviest song Prince has ever done) but like most I would have liked Prince on lead and Hannah backing. Isn't this the song that was influenced by the Cocteau Twins? And yeah, I hear the Wendy & Lisa vibe too.

.

Once again, bring on Plectrumelectrum!

BOYTROUBLE also sounds that way. I'm liking AOA much better than PE.

Love it. Drums sound beautiful at the start... Warm analogue vibes. Hannah's voice is great, can tell P wrote some of the melodies. Agree with some here, better than U KNOW.. Will be buying PLectrum on CD on 29th

Boring to me. I don't care for those last tracks on Planet Earth too, "Resolution" and "Lion of Judah". I hate uninteresting retro conventional rock band arrangements from Prince.

If the melody and chords were really cool, and you couldn't get it out of your head... I would have a different reaction.

Liking this. I prefer 'Whitecaps' to 'U Know' (which is good). Still more swayed to PlecElec as a whole, but lookng forward to AOA, too. Buying both is done and was a no brainer, for me, anyway.

Not bad. I can picture Wendy and Lisa singing this. This would have been a nice track for them.

Very interesting chord progressions, I like it. I still feel however Prince vocals would have done this song more justice.

I actually thought, "This could totally be on a Wendy & Lisa album."

I don't hate it - which puts it slightly ahead of U Know.

I bet this album will do well on the Christian Rock charts. I bet it is neat for the ladies to have their own record w/P but yikes it's pretty lame.

i like it except for the chorus having super boring harmony structure. Too heavy or something compared to the melody line. Bass is kinda boring here too- needs more dynamic playing.

The lyrics, the way the song is structured and the way the lyrics are sung are pretty good. I am with some of you, though, in that Prince should have sung the lead on it. The song sounds like a good Prince song sung by a woman; that I don't like.

I laughed through the entire song...ok parts of it I only giggled

Did you all listen to the lyrics and hear the clumsy way they were delivered? Horrible my 15 year old son writes stronger lyrics than this.

How can someone who wrote Joy in a Repetition release this song. Seriously the way Prince's ability to not only write lyrics but deliver them cleanly and rhythmically has diminished is shocking

Meshelle ndegeocello did songs like this in her sleep in the early 90s and with a lot more depth

Whitecaps is smooth. I would like to have heard it with Prince vocals but it's cool. I'm feeling U Know right now. Got me bopping.
